choice

Have you made this choice before

I have a choice to make

You have run into this similar choice before, but do you handle it the right way?

It's currently 5:30 pm on Saturda,y 4/12/2,5 and I need to figure out:

Do i want to right a half asses newsletter and go out with some friends

or

Tell them no and write a super detailed newsletter

This has happened to you before, but with training

Do you:

get a quick workout in or skip the gym and go be with friends?

Depending on the time of the year, I might say, something is better than nothing. Right now, this is one of those times. I havent sent out a newsletter in a few weeks and im pretty bummed/mad with myself.

Writing these has become a ton of fun and it really helps me become a better communicator to my clients. But the fast few weeks have been so busy its been hard for me to get them written, proofed and up to the standard i want.

(Yes mom I do proof these now….. IYKYK)

But today as i was getting my thoughts together, i decided to treat myself like one of my clients.

Continue to build the habit

The quality of work will improve over time

If i give up fun things in my life to produce a higher quality newsletter, is that sustainable? Can i do this every week?

If you give up social events to have a killer workout and make up on missed workouts from the past. Can you do this every week?

Are you staying in because you are worried about going over on your calories? if you went over the other day, today is a new day to try and stay under. You cant make up for missed days. Its a snowball effect that will force you to quit over time

In short, no. I only have a few weeks left in Hoboken before we move to Philly, and I want to have as much fun as possible

So this letter is intentionally short

Do what you need to do

It is ok to sacrifice quality SOMETIMES

but remember why you are trying to improve your health in the first place. To live longer and enjoy the times with friends and family
