I used to think I was up to date on the newest internet trends and tech trends but now its impossible to keep up. Maybe I'm getting old but this got me thinking about you.
My cousin and I were talking about this yesterday and the main point I want to drive home is
Information has never been easier to access, the successful people will be the ones who apply this.
It has never been easier to get the information you want. There are multiple AI models, hundreds of social media coaches, thousands of social media posts and even more forums that can all answer the topic you want to know more about.
You can open chatgpt, give your current training history and ask it ti write you a workout plan for whatever your needs are. You will have a pretty good plan in about 20-40 seconds. Its actually insane. But you can do this 1000 times and never make progress in the gym.
you wont lose weight or get stronger without applying this program though. Coaches are great at adjusting plans, working around injuries and keeping you accountable. The internet can solve any information gap. The internet and coaches cannot prep your protein for you or lift the weights for you.

To prove that this idea applies to your life in multiple areas. I am trying to grow my IG page to 10k followers. Maybe it's a vain goal, but maybe it'll help my business. Who cares? I set a goal, and I want to get there.
Now I can go hire a social media consultant, take a course, ask Chat GPT or post and pray. I've been posting and praying for 2+ years now, and it's not working great. ( posting and praying is just like you going to the gym and saying " what should I do today?" …. there's no plan behind it)
So I bought a course. I have a feeling that 90% of this info is things I know, have heard or have been told to do. But the act of buying a course and spending my money is forcing me to take more action.
This course is a forcing function, or a reason to get off my ass and work towards my goal. This concept was introduced to me by another fitness coach, Mike Millner - he's a sick coach, and you can learn a thing or two from him.
Now, I know this email sounds very "bro-ish" l in the sense of me saying " you need to make this happen". Before you judge, I understand that your life is busy; you have multiple things you are committed to and multiple things you are working towards. I am not here to blunt any of that.
I am here to look out for future you. You don't want to wake up in 2-4 years and be like " wow I'm a piece of shit I haven't gotten to this goal yet". You need to find your forcing function. It can be money or even shaming from your friends if you tell your friends that you want to lose 10lbs, but you never do. It becomes fair game for jokes after a year.
I want you to do two things for me: write down the following
1) What is your health goal for this quarter?
Use the WOOP method as a reference if needed?
2) What is your forcing function for said goal?
If your friend came to you with the same goal, what advice would you give them? — Apply that same advice to yourself
10 minutes of planning for a goal makes you 3x as likely to achieve it
